Our Beliefs

An Overview of What We Believe

We believe:
The Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God.
The Holy Spirit is the author of scripture.
The plenary, verbal inspiration of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments.
God has preserved His Word through the Hebrew Masoretic Text and the Greek Textus Receptus. We use the Authorized King James Version for our preaching and teaching ministries.
We believe:
There is only one God.
God exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
God created the world in six literal twenty-four hour days.
We believe:
Every human being is born a sinner because of Adam's sin and in desperate need of salvation, and unable to save themselves.
God created man a responsible being with a free will and as such, he may choose to accept or resist the grace of God.
We believe:
The incarnation and virgin birth of Jesus Christ, and that he lived an impeccably sinless holy life; and as God, He could not have sinned.
Christ died on the cross for the sins of all mankind.
God made salvation available to every man by grace, through faith alone, based upon the finished work of Christ on the cross.
The blood of Jesus Christ shed on the cross makes full atonement for our sins.
Regeneration, or the New Birth, occurs immediately once a man has repented of his sins and placed his faith in the finished work of Christ.
The eternal security of every believer is an absolute certainty.
Jesus Christ bodily resurrected from the tomb and ascended into heaven, where he now intercedes for believers.
Heaven and hell are literal places.
We believe:
The local church is God’s institution to carry out the Great Commission.
The two ordinances of the local church are baptism by immersion for believers only and The Lord’s supper as a memorial of Christ's substitutionary death on the cross.
The rapture of the church will end the church age and signal the beginning of the seven year tribulation period.
The premillennial return and millennial reign of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The judgment of believers at the Judgment Seat of Christ and the judgment of unbelievers at the Great White Throne.
We believe:
Every believer has an obligation to live a personally holy life.
It is the privilege and responsibility of every believer to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The gifts to the local church of pastor-teachers and evangelists are sufficient for the perfecting of the saints for today.
Speaking in tongues and the working of sign miracles gradually ceased as the New Testament Scriptures were completed and their authority became established.
That all forms of compromise with liberalism, ecumenicism, neo-evangelicism, or the charismatic movement should be avoided by those who live in obedience to God.

Without placing in print on this website our entire doctrinal statement with its supporting scriptures, this is what we believe. It is not intended to be an exhaustive examination of everything that we believe. It is simply an overview to assist you in understanding our beliefs.
